An accomplished musician at a young age, Amadeus Durbin studied music at the American Boychoir School under the direction of James Litton. He performed extensively in public and various places throughout the country and overseas, such as England, and Germany. His collaborative performances with the school included Beethoven's 9th Symphony with the New York Philharmonic, The Spring Symphony, Dante's Symphony and also singing solo in Tan Dun's Honk Kong reunification Symphony 1997. He performed at Carnegie Hall twice. He was also featured on Regis and Kathy Lee to promote the Michael W. Smith album "Christmastime" he sang on. He was also on two other nationally released albums with the choir. He sang on the very first Monster.com commercial which aired during the super bowl of that year.

After graduating in 1999 he became a vocal major at S.C.A.P.A. in Lexington Kentucky. Earning the outstanding male vocalist award four years in a row. He was also accepted into KMEA's all state choirs three years in a row. He never scored lower than distinguished in all of the solos he sang and was judged on. He graduated with a regular high school diploma from Lafayette High School along with one from S.C.A.P.A. in vocal performance. He was awarded the Bel Canto award along with the Jean Wake award for outstanding male vocal performance. During his time at the school he was in 12 shows playing the lead role of Joseph in Joseph (ATATDC) and Tommy in Brigadoon.

After graduating he was accepted into The Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin Ireland where he studied Improv, Singing, Theater Projects, Stage Craft, Acting, Mime, Fencing, Dance, Tap Dance, Shiatsu, Film, Theater History, Voice, Stage Combat, and movement. He was also required to attend a show in Dublin every week while enrolled. While studying acting in Dublin Amadeus auditioned for the professional choir at Christ Church. He was hired as a choral scholar and was quickly promoted to a Lay Clerk. Which meant getting to sing as a soloist on some beautiful as well as challenging pieces.

After 10 months in Dublin Amadeus moved to Los Angeles and within three months got an agent with the dpm talent agency. He also became a registered member of LA casting and Central Casting. He then began to do work on television shows such as Company Town, Monk, Day Break, Las Vegas, Criminal Minds, Ghost Whisperer, Heroes, Jericho, Dexter, The Loop, Studio 60, and 24. He was then hired as poker player in an Industrial Dealer DVD. After that he played a security guard on the movie Blades of Glory. And then was cast in a national NFL commercial.

Once shooting wrapped on the commercial he moved back to Kentucky to take some time off and decide what to do next. During this time he started work on a solo album entitled G.O.V.N.A. and performed at a local bar in Lexington called Redmons. He also performed at The Dame and hosted a music festival which he also performed at called Fratstock 07' in which over 3,000 people showed up.

After the music festival he released his first album G.O.V.N.A. the official mixtape from Amadeus. It included 15 tracks of original material, covers, remixes, and a few collaborations with local artists such as Marcus Mcfly, Nick Tenorio, Ryan Dedman, and Jimi Owens. A few months later he would release another project titled the Freedom Fighter EP. It included 7 tracks of original material.

Recently Amadeus has been working on a new full length album titled "23" which features collaborations with local artists Branden Hayes and Shawna P. Also he is currently in a production of Hair with summerfest in Lexington which will be performed at the end of July.
